Former county ladies’ footballer to cut her hair for charity | Roscommon Herald


A former Roscommon ladies’ footballer is to cut her hair for charity. Méabh Holmes will donate 14 inches of her hair to the Rapunzel Foundation. Méabh’s donated hair will help make wigs for people who have lost their hair through cancer treatments or conditions causing hair loss. The money raised will be shared between Mayo Roscommon Hospice and Children’s Health Foundation Temple Street. Méabh, a well-known physio with the St. Faithleach’s senior football team, has been overwhelmed by the response to date, which has raised €2,400.
